- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪So, my ten year old daughter has a space maintainer for her bottom teeth that she got put in when she was seven years old. She got it put in in Alaska. The doctor in Alaska said that it needs to be removed once her two adult teeth break through, which they did. Now there is no space between her teeth, hence the space retainer. So I take my little girl in to this Ark City dental clinic, the doctor looks at it and says she needs to keep the space maintainer in until she is thirteen years old, another three years! Ridiculous. He also told me he wouldn't remove it! He also said to go see other dentists and that I would get the same answer about of taking out the retainer. Horrible service that I had to pay for. I paid $58 for a two minute service. No good. I wouldn't recommend this dental clinic to my worst enemy if I had one.
